Maybe you're tired of Players rolling Presence to charm/snipe/shoot their way in and out of any situation, especially that Discharged Corp Killer who, for some reason, rolled a +3 on his Presence. Well, do not worry anymore, as this hack aims to fix that.

Instead of 5 skills mainly focused on combat, we present you 4 STATs, each with 2x SKILLs, aimed at diversifying the cast of rolls your Player will commit to. No longer will your tough 8 foot assassin need to be charismatic to intimate somebody, along with many other welcome changes!

INTEL - tech & wits

COOL - manipulation & style

POWER - strength & toughness

SLEIGHT - dexterity & reflexes

Featuring a NEW EDITABLE-AND-FILLABLE PRINTER-KILLER CHARACTER SHEET to accommodate your needs, packed full of cool designs to keep your players drawing up new characters, as well as TWO PAGES OF RULES TO UNDERSTAND THE MODIFICATIONS.

Love this hack and plan to use it for an upcoming game. Had a question. What is the purpuse of the modifrers on Stats? Would they ever be used for a roll over a skill?

(+1)

You can use them if you want your game to be more of a attribute-based rather than luck-based game. You'd add the initial modifier with the secondary one.

very interesting rules idea. Have you playtested these and had feedback from players?

btw love the work you are doing for this game! very cool stuff.

Yes. I created them for my purposes. They've worked really well as replacements!

Can you explain a bit more how the skills get their numbers from the stats?
